So here’s something that I haven’t talked about before… COMICON!
In case you are not familiar with Comicon, it’s an annual comic book and pop culture convention that’s held in Toronto every year. If you’re into Marvel, DC, Anime then this is the right place for you to be around March.
You’ll find celebrity Q&A sessions from prominent shows like Gotham, Walking Dead, Bing Bang Theory and the list goes on. Every year actors from different shows or movies appear at this convention and take questions from the audience and spend time interacting with the group.
This time I was able to sit in a Q&A session with Gotham’s David Mazouz (Young Bruce Wayne) and Sean Pertwee (Alfred). If you haven’t watched the show (which would be surprising considering it’s so awesome) you should grab some buttery popcorn, salty snacks and Coke Zero and start watching! The have already finished two seasons.
Not only are there celebrities at this convention but you also get to see guest appearance from former entertainment superstars like Mick Foley and Bret Hart from WWE.
Once you’ve gotten your fair share of celebrities and photo shoots from Comicon subjects you can make your way to the retailers and browse over a hundred booths with unique items and beautiful artwork. Hopefully the vidoes and images that follow will give you a decent preview of what the event is like and if you’ve already attended hopefully it gives you a pleasant reminder of the amazing event that was set up.
