The meal commenced with the Burrata E Caviale, a delightful starter that combines the creamy richness of burrata cheese with the delicate brininess of caviar. This harmonious pairing set the tone for the courses that followed.
Main Courses: Risotto Ai Funghi and Paccheri Genovese
For the main courses, we selected the Risotto Ai Funghi and Paccheri Genovese.
-
Risotto Ai Funghi: This dish featured perfectly cooked risotto infused with the earthy flavors of wild mushrooms. The creamy texture of the risotto complemented the umami notes of the mushrooms, creating a satisfying and flavorful experience.
-
Paccheri Genovese: The Paccheri Genovese showcased large, ridged pasta tubes enveloped in a rich, slow-cooked beef and onion sauce. The depth of flavor in the sauce, combined with the hearty pasta, exemplified the essence of traditional Ligurian cuisine.

To conclude the meal, we indulged in the Tiramisu, a classic Italian dessert. Osteria Giulia’s rendition was exceptional, featuring layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, dusted with cocoa powder. The dessert was both light and indulgent, providing a perfect end to the dining experience.

The restaurant boasts an extensive Italian wine list, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu. Sommelier and General Manager Marco Thompson, recognized as the Toronto Michelin Guide’s Sommelier Award Winner in 2023, offers expert recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
