I would tell you this is just another ordinary dessert place, but then I’d be lying to you.
This little gem at Rockwood Mall Mississauga centers around freshly made ice cream with real fruit pieces – right in front of you.
Today I’m trying the avocado scroll ice cream with pumpkin seeds and warm crispy egg waffles…
I think they call it “Ball Waffles”…or…”Bubble Waffles”
I’ll have to get back to you on that one.
The point is, this is so delicious!
You see, I’m the type who will make a bit of effort to go somewhere…but if there’s something standing in the way I’ll throw in the towel.
Let’s just go home…
We got to Rockwood Mall at 8:50PM, and the mall closes at 9!
As we frantically searched to find this place and satisfy that familiar craving for avocado, pumpkin seeds and crispy waffle…the clock struck 9.
Shit
But as with all proper misadventures, this one ended gloriously…
On the way towards the exit we run into this place and turns out they close at 9:30!!!
They stay open half an hour late for any new customers who have trouble finding it.
Wow Wow Yum Yum has a comfortable little seating area if you decide to stay and enjoy your desert. The scent of fruit, chocolate and freshly pressed waffle fills the air as you wait for your ice cream to be prepared.
There’s a selection of toppings to choose from that enhance the already delicious flavor ranging from skittles, seeds, extra waffles and more…
I can’t say I wasn’t tempted to try all of them but that would’ve been impossible in one night.

I would have to say that I will definitely try this place again. It’s not in a super busy area – although I haven’t seen it during lunch time. There’s a fairly large parking lot and if you’re in a hurry you can always take the dessert to go…
